Beginnings
Dec. 20th, 2005 02:24 pmThis is an auspicious day! I enter bravely into the weblog world for the first time. So, I'm not writing for myself, but to an audience as well. Hmm, interesting. Published writings are not new to me. I've written for an anonymous audience before, but I have never shared my journal entries. This will take some getting used to.
I opened this account at school. With most of the known academic world on vacation, the day was developing slowly enough to give me time to think and reflect about what I was doing and planning. What an opportunity, I thought, to open a weblog where I could reflect in public. Well, I had enough time to open this account and choose a username, but then my time at school ran out. So here I am, trying frantically to file a substancial entry, despite constant interruptions and business distractions (like phone calls).
